A bunch of Thirst members is currently beta testing Heroes of Newerth; a stand-alone version of DotA (the popular WC3 mod) developed by S2 Games.

The game features the same type of gameplay as DotA, but without the dated WC3 graphics engine, and without Battle.net from when Mark Wahlberg was Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch was cool.

It's a fast-paced, highly competitive game that is played by two opposing teams of 5 players each. Each game you choose a hero, level it up, buy equipment and fight to destroy the other team's base.

Another two new sites have been added to Thirst. World of Warcraft and StarCraft II.

Belite is going to cover news about Wrath of the Lich King on the World of Warcraft site, and AronChan will keep us up to date on StarCraft II.

Two new sites have been added to the Thirst Gaming community. Call of Duty 4 and Warhammer Online.

The Call of Duty site will be run by drnknmnky when he gets his COD4 Clan together and a gaming server up. Hopefully we can help them get going and spread the name of Thirst to new gaming areas.

The Warhammer Online site will initially cover info about the game up to its release - planned to the 18th of September - and then continue as a base for those of us who will play the game.

Welcome to the new Thirst Gaming site! This will primarily be our base for Age of Conan as that is what most of us are playing at the moment. But my hopes are that it will expand in the future as we'll play more games together.

More features and functions will pop up here over time. I'm severely handicapped when it comes to programming right now though, not to mention pushing pixels around. The forum will get a nice new skin as well when my wrist gets better.
